How do I define self-trust?
Is the belief that we can depend or rely in our own capabilities, knowledge, skills and strengths and be able to get along on our daily lives or to achieve our personal objectives
In what areas of your life does self-trust show up the most?
It shows in many ways, such as career challenges, however, more importantly is in my daily commitments. Being able to keep promises to myself on what I said I will do every day, small steps, to achieve my goals ( Career, Personal, etc)
What role does trust play in developing relationships?
It is point of paramount impact on relationships. Not a true relationship would develop with the lack of trust if any would be something superficial and not a true or significant relationship.
This is also true with building self-esteem with ourselves.
It was interesting to …
It was interesting to find out that when reviewing Trust vs Doubt we can also go back to another power tool “Responsibility vs Blame” as these tools are very much related with each other.
What I realize is that we have doubts as humans beings and is up to us to clarify those doubts and take responsibility or empower myself to have better control or to think and feel that is a up to me to take the next steps to develop or get Self Trust.
In order words:
If in “DOUBT” -> I suggest to-> Take Responsibility -> and this way -> Develop Trust
But Blame should not be in any part on our behaviors as it is disempowering or take us into loosing freedom or control.
