Welcome to exploring Coaching with me!

Tools, Process and how relates to other practices.

Coaching Vs Mentoring

They differ on the bases of the help provided. A mentor in general is an experienced person in the matter that the “client” is getting support on. The mentor not only takes the client into finding the answers but also provide “expert advice” to the client.

Coaching on the other hand is focus on support a client on the aspects he, the client, feels are important and help the client find the answers using the client’s own knowledge, skills and expertise under the value systems of the client.
A coach will try to use the knowledge, experience and skill of the client to arrive to the expected results. In this process the coach will understand what the customer “really” wants what are the clients belief and value systems and by reflecting and proving will get the customers to be aware of his/her true feelings, underline believes and an move the client to take action base on his findings and aspirations.
After all, to make any meaningful change will require exploring the client’s values and belief system which can take the client to reflections on his/her own life, family, career-personal life balancing, etc.
Therefore after the first sessions of aligning expectations, sharing some background will follow a deeper reflection on the clients life situation, believes and expectations.
